Anime Adventures Tier List
The best units in Anime Adventures, ranked S to C using community data from the game's final live version. Prioritise these units when the game returns.
How to read this list: Rankings reflect the last live meta (Update 19.5) before the 2023 shutdown — the reference point the community will start from on relaunch day. Units are ranked on damage output (DPS), area coverage (AoE), range, cost efficiency and late-game value in Infinite Mode and Raids. Balance will change in the relaunch build, and this list will be re-ranked once the new version is playable.
Meta Ceiling
The units that defined the final live meta — build your relaunch roster around these.
Griffin (Darkness)
Sacrifice mechanic gives near-endless DPS scaling in long Infinite runs — the meta ceiling.
Vegeto
Fusion unit with a huge DPS ceiling and wide cone AoE; melts bosses and waves alike.
Berserker
Stacking bleed on every hit shreds high-HP enemies over time. Top-tier sustained damage.
Legendary Assassin (Prime)
Bonus damage to the closest enemy makes him a premier single-target boss killer.
Top Tier
Elite units that slot into almost any endgame team.
Supreme Being (Sovereign)
Among the highest raw DPS in Infinite Mode; very trait-dependent but dominant with the right roll.
Elf Mage (Aura)
Hill hybrid that combines strong DPS with team support — fits almost any composition.
Shinobi (Awakened)
The best burn unit in the game; consistent damage that scales well into late waves.
Fuji
Reliable all-round damage dealer with good coverage for story and raids.
Itochi (Crimson)
High burst with strong AoE from Susanoo-style attacks; a raid staple.
Gas
Toxic damage over time plus solid range — dependable in both PvE and Infinite.
Solid Picks
Dependable units that stay useful until S and A tier carries replace them.
Harribu
Solid hybrid damage with decent AoE; outclassed by S-tier but never a bad pick.
Golden Tyrant (Emperor)
Heavy hits and respectable range, best used as a mid-game anchor.
Illusionist (Final)
Very high DPS with an execute mechanic; strong in Raids and Infinite when positioned well.
Stringy (Awakened)
Good crowd control and coverage for clustered waves.
Gilgamesh
Consistent AoE damage dealer; a safe, flexible slot in most teams.
Dazai
Support utility that strips enemy attributes in range — situational but powerful.
Calm Killer
Fast attacks at low cost; excellent value when spammed at map corners early on.
Byu
Balanced stats across the board; a dependable mid-tier damage option.
Outclassed
Usable early on, but quickly replaced as your roster grows.
Kurama (Nine-Tails)
Usable early on, but falls behind once evolved mythics enter the picture.
Titan Slayer
Niche anti-large damage that rarely justifies the slot in late game.
Pirate King (Evolved)
Fun and thematic, but outscaled by most A-tier units in the final meta.
Spirit Swordsman
Starter-friendly unit that is quickly replaced as your roster grows.
Building a Team at Relaunch
Anchor on one S-tier
Build your resources around a single S-tier carry instead of spreading upgrades thin.
Bring a farm unit
A money unit with a good trait (see the traits guide) funds your late-game upgrades.
Cover air and ground
Mix hill/hybrid units like Elf Mage (Aura) with ground DPS so no wave type slips through.
